Enrollment Procedure

Thank you for your interest in Sweet Dreams Childcare. Three easy steps to enrollment:

Step 1:

Telephone Interview
I am usually busy with the children doing various projects and activities, so when you call if I'm not available please leave your name, phone number, and your message. I'll call you back at a less busy time. Most parents are interested in my schedule, rates, activities, etc. All of this information is on this website. During the telephone interview, I will ask you some questions so that I am better able to give you information, and a more definite rate for your particular need. We will then set up an interview. Alternately you can fill out the form below and I will contact you as soon as possible.

Step 2:

In-person Interview
The first initial interview will be set up at a convenient time for both you and I. This is where you can meet my family and me; get a tour of my home (areas used by the childcare), and where we will discuss the important details of my program. I may go over some of my policies in my Parent Handbook, and answer any questions you may have. Parents are encouraged to bring their child with them. This will give the child an opportunity to meet the childcare provider and helpers before the first full day of attendance.

If for any reason you can't make your scheduled interview appointment, please call to cancel or reschedule. I will do the same if I am unable to keep the appointment. If an interview is not cancelled and the parent fails to show up, another interview will not be granted.

Parents are encouraged to bring their child with them. This will give the child an opportunity to meet the childcare provider and helpers before the first full day of attendance.

Step 3:

Security Retainer & Tuition
After a parent has expressed interest in my program, and I have decided to accept them into my childcare, you will receive an Enrollment Packet which includes required paperwork.

A security retainer equivalant to one week's tuition is required. This must be received in advance in order to secure your child's space. The security retainer will be applied to your child's last week of enrollment if there are no outstanding balances on your account. In addition, the Enrollment Packet with the first week's fee must be received in order for care to begin for your child. You are permitted to bring the Enrollment Packet and first week's tuition with you on your child's first day. Please see our current Tuition Rates for more information.

Upon enrollment, an Enrollment Fee (20.00/family) and Security Retainer (equivalent to 1 week's tuition), first weeks tuition, and Enrollment Packet w/immunization form is required. This must be received in advance, in order to secure your child's spot.
